ANTELOPE VALLEY ALANO CLUB
We serve people with alcohol and other problems to resume a dependence free life. Our mission is to save lives, “one day at a time,” by providing a safe, clean, supportive and sober environment where recovering alcoholics, drug addicts and their families can work together at changing their lives. The Alano Club doors are open 365 days a year, from 8:00am to 10:00pm, offering more than 40 recovery meetings a week, and a place for sober social gatherings and recreational activities, for sponsors and sponsees to meet, and the celebration of sobriety birthdays. Daily volunteers work as club staff who are supervised by a club manager. They perform the daily maintenance duties around the club, cleaning the facility and selling refreshments to the clientele. Board members and committee chairs perform all other organizational duties. Many of our members remain clean and sober and play active roles in our community. The 7th Tradition during meetings covers only a small portion of the club’s expenses, and your donations are welcome. Membership of $15.00 a month will help to keep our doors open, and with your new membership you will be given a ceramic coffee mug with your name and sobriety date on it. Meeting room rates are $10.00 for the small meeting room and $20.00 for the large room.
